Classification of relays

Classification of relays
1. Classification according to the working principle or structural characteristics of relay:

(1) Electromagnetic relay: A type of electrical relay worked using the input circuit in the input circuit in the inhalation of the electromagnet iron core and the armored iron.
(2) Solid relay: Refers to a relay that enters and output isolation when the electronic component fulfills its function without mechanical motion components.
(3) Temperature relay: relay that moves when the outside temperature reaches a given value.
(4) Tongue reed relay: The tongue spring movement with the dual action of electrocarling reed and iron magnetic circuit is used to open or convert the line electrical appliances with dual effects of electric shock reed and iron magnetic circuit.
(5) Time relay: When adding or removing the input signal, the output part needs to be delayed or limited to the specified time before closed or disconnected its control line relay.
(6) High -frequency relay: For relays that are used to switch high -frequency, radio frequency lines, with minimal loss.
(7) Polarization relay: relay with a comprehensive effect of polarization magnetic field and control current through controlling the magnetic field produced by controlling coils. The action direction of relays depends on the current direction of the control coil.
(8) Other types of relay: such as light relay, sound relay, thermal relay, instrument formula relay, Hall effect relay, poor relay, etc.
2. Classification according to the shape of the relay:
(1) Micro relay: relay with the longest side size of not more than 10 mm.
(2) Ultra -small miniature relay: relay with the longest edge size greater than 10 mm, but not more than 25 mm.
(3) Small micro -relay: Relay with a maximum size of the longest edge is greater than 25 mm, but not more than 50 mm.
Note: For the seal or closed relay, the shape size is the maximum size of the three vertical directions of the relay body. It does not include the size of the installation part, leading end, pressure tendon, pressure edge, turning edge, and sealing welding joints.
3. The load of the relay is divided into::
(1) Micro -power relay: When the contact opening voltage of the contact is 28V, the (block) relay with 0.1A and 0.2A.
(2) Weak power relay: When the contact opening voltage is DC 28V, the (blocking) relay with 0.5A and 1A.
(3) Mid -power relay: When the contact opening voltage of the contact is DC 28V, (blocking) relay with 2A and 5A.
(4) Ultra -power relay: When the contact opening voltage of the contact is DC 28V, the (block) relay is 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A, 40A ...
4. Classification according to the protection characteristics of relay:
(1) Seal relay: Welding or other methods, seal the contacts and coils in the cover, isolated from the fence medium, and its leakage rate is low.
(2) Closed relay: Relay with a cover (non -seal) such as the hood and the coil with a cover.
(3) Open relay: no protective cover to protect relays from electric shock and coils.
The most commonly used relay in electrical production above is two types of electromagnetic relay and dry reed relay.
